Sortida Limited is a fast-growing UK-based wholesaler and distributor of mobile phones and accessories, operating across domestic and international supply chains. Due to continued business growth and increasing import volumes, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimise our end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations.

This is a senior, managerial role with responsibility for strategic planning, operational control, compliance, and team leadership. The position is integral to ensuring the secure, compliant, and cost-effective movement of high-value stock into and across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Logistics Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
  • Strategically planning and managing international import operations for mobile phones and accessories.
  • Developing logistics strategies to ensure timely, secure, and cost-effective transportation of high-value goods.
  • Managing and maintaining professional relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, couriers, and warehousing partners.
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK import regulations, customs procedures, VAT requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Overseeing inventory flow, stock reconciliation processes, and loss-prevention controls.
  • Forecasting logistics capacity in line with sales growth, demand trends, and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies to reduce delays, errors, and logistics costs.
  • Supervising logistics and warehouse staff, allocating workloads, monitoring performance, and supporting team development.
  • Producing regular management reports on logistics performance, costs, risks, and operational improvements for company directors.
  • This role is managerial and strategic in nature and is not clerical or administrative.
  • Required Qualifications and Experience
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate:
  • Significant prior experience in logistics or supply chain management at a supervisory or managerial level.
  • Proven experience managing international imports and distribution operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of customs clearance procedures, freight coordination, and inventory management.
  • Experience supervising logistics, warehouse, or supply-chain staff.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-value goods environment with strong attention to compliance and risk control.

Pay: £45,000 per year
